Luanne Thomson is the General Manager, People & Capability at Sedgman, leading global teams to drive strategic people initiatives and workforce development. Since joining Sedgman in 2007, she has played a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy, stepping into her current role in January 2023.


With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, including 17 years in the resources industry, Luanne specialises in delivering fit-for-purpose people solutions that create long-term value across multiple regions. Her expertise spans workforce strategy, talent development, and organisational capability, ensuring Sedgman remains an employer of choice in a competitive market.
