Giulia Savio is a senior leader dedicated to empowering individuals and teams to deliver tangible value through the development and enhancement of corporate/community partnerships, culture transformation and leading strategic diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Currently, as an Independent Consultant to the resources sector, with over 15 years of experience, including leadership roles at St Barbara Mining and Newcrest Mining, as well as delivering DEI strategies and business critical People & Culture work for Sandvik, 29Metals, Orica and Queensland Resources Council. Giulia has proven ability to navigate complex businesses and challenging environments, delivering sustainable results through effective communication and values-based leadership both locally in Australia and internationally. Giulia focuses on uplifting leadership capability through education, support, and community engagement. She holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Research Methodologies (Honours), and a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Communication, and Public Relations. Giulia has also served as a Director on the Gold Industry Group Board and as a Councillor for AusIMM’s D&I Council.
