
Cassie Rowe

Ms Rowe was first elected to the Parliament of Western Australia as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the seat of Belmont in March 2017, subsequently re-elected in 2021 and 2025. Prior to Politics, Ms Rowe was a Financial Planner.
Ms Rowe is currently the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Creative Industries; Heritage; Industrial Relations; Aged Care and Seniors; Women, appointed 19 March 2025. Ms Rowe previously held the title of Government Whip, from 17th of March 2021 to 29th January 2025 and Secretary of the State Parliamentary Labor Party from 15 March 2017 to 29 April 2021. Ms Rowe was born and educated in the State of Victoria, arriving in Western Australia in 2005.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne University, two Diplomas of Financial Services and a Diploma of Screenwriting.
Ms Rowe is married with two daughters. The family resides in her electorate. Ms Rowe is the first woman to sit in an Australian Parliament with her sister, Samantha Rowe MLC.
A keen artist, Ms Rowe was the winner of The Lester Prize 2024 People’s Choice for her portrait: 'Shirley'. Ms Rowe loves visiting local schools, local sports clubs, attending community events and being part of local community groups.
